WAY TO GLO!

Almost a decade ago, a friend introduced me to a remarkable trick that swiftly alleviated my stomachache. With a simple application of pressure on a specific point on my wrist, she utilized the ancient practice of acupressure, derived from traditional Chinese medicine.

This incredible experience ignited my curiosity for the powers of acupuncture and acupressure. Astonishingly, I later also discovered that these techniques extend beyond healing and also find relevance in skincare.

Apart from bearing intriguing names, acupressure points have shown their efficacy in various aspects of skincare, ranging from combating acne to promoting lymphatic drainage and even achieving a facelift effect.

Incorporating the practice into your daily routine can be remarkably easy—all you need are your hands and the correct pressure points. You can perform them during breaks at work or seamlessly integrate them into your day or nighttime skincare regimen.

1. SI18

Imagine drawing a vertical line downwards from the corner of your eye, and then a horizontal line starting from the base of your nose. Where those two lines intersect on each side of your cheek, you've got yourself a significant acupressure point known as SI18. This little champ holds the power to tackle those pesky dark eye circles and stubborn eye bags. Just apply some firm pressure on that spot, hold it for about 4-5 seconds, and do it a good 4-5 times a day. Trust me, it works like a charm!

2. Four White

Right below each eye socket, about half an inch away, there's this awesome acupressure point that works wonders for acne and blemishes. And guess what? It's a total game-changer for those of us stuck in front of computer screens all day. It's like a magical solution that helps ease the strain on our tired eyes.

3. Welcome Fragrance Point

Yes, it is a real name, and it’s a direct translation from its Mandarin name (Ying Xiang). Imagine two lines, one running horizontally from the base of your nose, and the other dropping vertically from your pupil. Right at the intersection of these lines, you'll stumble upon a remarkable acupressure point. This point is a true champ when it comes to toning the facial muscles in an area where wrinkles and sagging skin often rear their heads. But that's not all! It's also a secret weapon for skin tightening. When you activate this point, it works its magic by adding fullness to your facial lines and revving up the blood flow, boosting your skin's natural functions. The result? A tight and glowing complexion, free from those pesky fine lines that tend to trouble most people. Trust me, this point is the real deal!

4. Wind Screen

Let's talk about a special spot, tucked away right behind your earlobe in a little indentation. If you open your mouth and gently explore the area between your ear and jaw, you'll discover this hidden gem. Massaging this point is said to work wonders in balancing your thyroid gland and boosting your skin's radiance. It's like a secret ingredient for a healthy glow! So go ahead, give it a try and unlock the potential of this remarkable spot. Your thyroid and your skin will thank you!

Like this stuff? It would mean the world to me if you can share with your friends and family! Your support is the best kind of motivation 😃 😃 😃 😃
